Wachamungu hawapatwi na mashinikizo ya mawanzo na mfadhaiko wa fikra


Utafiti wa kisaikolojia umeonyesha kwamba, watu wanaofuata itikadi za kidini au wale wanaoamini uwepo wa mungu hawapatwi sana na mashinikizo kimawazo au mfadhaiko wa kifikra. Wasiwasi wa nafsi (anxiety) ni kama panga yenye ncha mbili ambazo zinaweza kumfanya mtu apatwe na mshituko hasa baada ya kutenda kosa na hata kujawa na woga. Utafiti huo uliochapishwa katika jarida la sayansi ya saikolojia umeonyesha kwamba, kuna tofauti muhimu kati ya ubongo wa waumini na ule wa wale wasioamini itikadi zozote za kidini wakati wanapokumbana na matatizo. Imeelezwa kuwa, sehemu ya mbele ya ubongo ambayo huratibu tabia kwa kutoa ishara wakati inapotakiwa kutoa au kudhibiti mambo, haifanyi kazi vizuri katika watu walio na imani ya Mungu. Kwa sababu hiyo basi waumini huwa hawana wasiwasi au hawahisi mashinikizo ya kifikra pale wanapofanya makosa.

Bibi Sara Obama kusaidia katika kampeni za kupambana na mbung'o


Umoja wa Afrika umetangaza leo kwamba Sara Obama, bibi yake Rais Barack Obama wa Marekani atatumia umaarufu wake kusaidia katika kampeni za kupambana na mbun'go, ambao wanasababisha ugonjwa wa Malalo. Timu ya AU iliyotembelea kijiji anochoishi bibi huyo cha Kogelo huko magharibi mwa Kenya imesema kuwa, Bi. Sara Obama mwenye umri wa miaka 78, amepatiwa dawa za kupambana na mbun'go pamoja na vifaa vya kutosha vitakavyotumika kuwatibu wanyama 3,000 ambao huweza kupata ugonjwa huo sawa na binadamu. Timu huyo imesema, Mama Sarah amefurahia wadhifa huo na kuahidi kwamba atakuwa balozi mzuri katika kampeni za kuwang'oa mbung'o kwenye eneo lake.
Inafaa kuashiria hapa kuwa nchi 37 za Kiafrika zinakabiliwa na mbu aina ya mbung'o ambao wanasababisha ugonjwa wa Malalo. Jitihada zinazofanywa na Umoja wa Afrika dhidi ya ugonjwa huo, tayari zimeshazaa matunda katika nchi za Botswana na Namibia.

Obama kuondoa marufuku ya uchunguzi wa seli mama


Rais Baraka Obama wa Marekani anatarajiwa kuondoa marufuku katika fedha za kusaidia katika utafiti kuhusiana na seli mama au stem cell. Rais aliyepita wa Marekani, George Bush alizuia kutumiwa fedha za serikali kufadhili utafiti wa seli mama za ambriyo baada ya tarehe 9 Agosti 2001.
Wanasayansi wanasema kuwa, utafiti juu ya seli mama utapelekea ugunduzi muhimu katika tiba, lakini makundi mengi ya kidini yanapinga uchunguzi huo. Seli mama ni seli ambazo zina uweza wa kugeuka na kuwa aina yoyote ya seli za mwili wa mwanadamu, kama vile mifupa, mishipa na hata seli za fahamu.
Lakini kutumiwa seli mama zinazotokana na embriyo ya mwanadamu katika utafiti huo ni suala lililozua mjadala mkubwa na baadhi ya watu wanasema kuwa, utafiti huo ni kinyume cha maadili. Tayari baadhi ya wanasayansi katika uwanja huo wameonyesha kufurahiashwa na hatua hiyo ya Obama wakisema kuwa, uchunguzi huo utaendelea tena baada ya kusimamishwa kwa miaka 8. Hatua hiyo ya Obama ni katika kutekeleza ahadi zake alizozitoa kabla ya kuchaguliwa kuwa Rais wa Marekani. Baadhi ya nchi kama vile Iran zinafanya utafiti wa seli mama na tayari zimepiga hatua zaidi ikilinganishwa na Marekani kuhusiana na suala hilo,

LEARN HOW TO LIVE LONGER AND HEALTHIER


Many people would like to be healthy but do not know how to take
care of their health. It is important to know how to take care of
your health, because your health is your greatest wealth.

at the age of 1 to 25 years, are healthy and very active from 26 to
40 years they become tired, from 41 years up to the age of 80 they
become sick, and might have age related diseases such as Blood
Pressure, diabetes, gout, cancer, poor eye sight, backache and they die
at this age of 80 years.
Can this situation be changed? The answer is yes in fact any person
can live up to 100 years and above with better health, the secret
behind the healthy lifestyle is;

-NUTRITION
Your health is determined by the type of food you eat. The secret to
healthier life is to eat a lot of fresh and natural food, these
includes fruits and vegetables, the fruits and vegetables takes care
of your immunity, look of your skin, help the function of your bowels
and enable you to avoid constipation. Look for good source of
protein, such as soya beans, beans, white meat, such as fish and
chicken .Eat sugars and carbohydrates sparingly because excessive use
of sugars and carbohydrates may cause overweight problems, diabetes
and blood pressure. Avoid artificial foods polished packed foods
because their usage in long run may cause different types of
cancers, These type of foods are packed with food colors and
preservatives which have toxic effects.

-AIR
Sleep with your windows open avoid polluted air and places, lack of air causes fatigue.

-EXERCISE
Your body needs some exercise to burn some excessive fat in your
body, assist natural bowel elimination and tone cells in the body.
You can join gyms, walk, jog or use the stairs when visiting offices
with storey buildings.

-REST
Respect your body's need for rest, don't overwork yourself. Go to bed
earlier the latest time you may go to sleep is 1 hour before
midnight. Have 8 hours of sleep 8 hours of work and 8 hours of
relaxation.

-WATER
Is the internal and external cleanser, drink at least 2 glasses of
water 30 minutes before every meal. Take a warm bath because warm
water kills germs and remove unwanted fat on the body.

-YOUR ATTITUDE
Have a positive mental attitude about yourself and life in
general. LOVE YOURSELF. Don't be proud, be humble, enjoy life and live today.
Have a positive self talk such as, i am a winner, day after day i am changing for the better...etc.

-DO YOU BELIEVE IN GOD?
If you do it is o.k.
if not i cannot force you. If you believe in God Pray to your God
for success, and assistance in solving your problems. Don't worry ,be

WHAT TO AVOID

-DRUGS
If you want to be mentally healthy do not take drugs .i.e
marijuana, cocaine etc.

-SMOKING
Smoking is bad for your health because it is the major cause of
cancer of the lungs., impotence, blood pressure, and bad body smell. If
you want to know much about the effects of smoking, ask your doctor.

-ALCOHOL
Take 1 litre per day or if you fail to control your self abstain from
taking it. Excessive drinking of alcohol can cause lack of
appetite, liver failure, broken marriages, digestive disorders and
malnutrition.

-WORRY.
Don't worry and be happy. Too much worrying can make you sick, worry causes stress, insanity loss of appetite and loss of sleep.

-ANGER
Control your temper avoid unnecessary arguments, an angry person is
temporarily insane. Avoid talking when you are angry calm down and
try to talk in lower voice.

-SEXUAL DESIRES
Control your sexual desires because uncontrolled sexual desires can
cause a lot of troubles to you. You might end up in jail for rape.

Uchunguzi mpya umeonyesha kuwa, kuangalia TV kwa muda mrefu huleta athma kwa watoto



Watoto wenye kuangalia televisheni kwa zaidi ya masaa mawili kila siku wanakabiliwa na hatari ya kupatwa na ugonjwa wa athma.
Uchunguzi huo umeonyesha kuwa, kuangalia televisheni kwa muda mrefu kunaleta uwezekano wa kupata athma uongezeke mara mbili kwa watoto.
Jinsi mfumo wa kupumua unavyofanya kazi wakati mtoto anapokaa tu bila kufanya chochote, hupelekea kutokea mabadiliko katika mapafu pamoja na magojwa mengine ya kupumua ikiwemo athma. Unene wa kupita kiasi pamoja na kutokufanya mazoezi kunakosababishwa na kuangalia muda mrefu televisheni hupelekwa kutokea hali hiyo Wataalamu wamesema kuwa, kuishi maisha ya kutokuwa na harakati yoyote katika umri mdogo hupelekea kuongezeka uwezekano wa hatari ya kupata athma ukubwani. Hivyo wamewashauri wazazi kuwashajiisha watoto wao kufuata maisha ya kawaida ya kuwa na mishughuliko na kupunguza muda wanaoutumia kuangalia TV. Wataalamu wa Uingereza wametoa taarifa hiyo baada ya kuwafanyia uchunguzi watoto 3,000 wa nchi hiyo kuanzia wale waliozaliwa mpaka walio na miaka 11.
Athma ni ugonjwa sugu ambao mara nyingi unawapata watoto ambapo hushindwa kupumua, pumzi kuwabana, kukohoa pamoja na kubwana na kifua.

Aina mbalimbali za njugu (nuts) maragwe, samaki, mafuta ya mimea kama mafuta ya zaituni ni miongoni mwa vyakula vyenye Omega 3.
Fatty acid aina ya Omega 3 ina faida nyingi mwilini ikiwepo ile ya kusaidia moyo na hata kupunguza shinikizo la damu. Wachunguzi pia wamegundua omega 3 husaidia ubongo kufanya kazi nzuri hasa kwa watoto na vile vile ina faida katika ukuaji wa kawaida wa mwili.

Kufanya kazi muda mrefu huleta usahaulifu!


Kufanya kazi kwa muda mrefu kunaongeza hatari ya kupungua kwa akili na kukumbuka mambo, suala ambalo linanapelekea kwa kiasi kikubwa mtu kupatwa na magonjwa wa usahaulifu hasa uzeeni.(dementia).
Huko nyuma uchunguzi ulionyesha kwamba kuishi maisha yasiyo mazuri, kuongezeka kwa ukosefu wa usingizi, mifadhaiko ya kimawanzo na msongo wa mambo na kutokuwa na utulivu, mambo ambayo yako katika mfululizo mzima wa kufanya kazi kwa muda mrefu, kuna uhusino na matatizo ya mishipa ya damu.
Uchunguzi uliochapishwa pia katika Jarida elimu ya Magonjwa ya mlipuko la Marekani (Epidemiology Journal of America) umeonyesha kwamba, kufanya kazi za ziada au overtime, kuna athari mbaya katika ubongo.
Kwa hivyo wale wanaofanya kazi sana wako katika hatari ya kusahau mambo lakini kwa kipindi kufupi pamoja na kushindwa kukumbuka baadhi ya maneno.
Kushindwa kufanya kazi vizuri ubongo kumeonekana kutokea zaidi kati wale wanaofanya kazi zaidi ya masaa 55 kwa wiki, suala ambalo halionekani kwa wale wanaofanya kazi kwa viwango vya kawaida.

Wanasayansi wanaamini kuwa, kufanya kazi kwa kiwango cha kawaida pamoja na kula chakula bora na kilicho kamili, maingiliano ya kijamii ya kawaida pamoja na kufanya mazoezi ya mwili na akili, kunaweza kusaidia kupunguza uwezekano wa kupata magonjwa ya kusahau hasa uzeeni au dementia.
